What is YouTube Money Calculator

This calculator estimates how much a YouTube channel can earn from ads based on daily views and RPM, the revenue you keep per 1000 views. Enter your views, pick a niche to set a typical RPM band or type your own, and it shows an earnings range per day, per month and per year. It is an estimate: real payouts swing with your niche, where your viewers are, how long they watch and the time of year.

How to use

  1. Enter how many views your channel gets per day.
  2. Pick a niche to set a typical RPM range, or type your own RPM.
  3. Read the estimated earnings per day, month and year.
  4. Adjust the RPM to match your own analytics for a closer number.

When to use it

Getting 10,000 views a day on a gaming channel? At a $2 to $6 RPM that works out to roughly $600 to $1,800 a month before taxes. Change the niche to finance and the same views can pay several times more, which shows why RPM matters as much as view count.

Frequently asked questions

How is YouTube income estimated?

Earnings are views divided by 1000, multiplied by the RPM. RPM is the money you actually keep per 1000 views after YouTube takes its share, so the result is your estimated ad revenue, not the advertiser spend.

What is the difference between RPM and CPM?

CPM is what advertisers pay per 1000 ad impressions. RPM is what lands in your pocket per 1000 video views after YouTube keeps about 45% and after views without ads are counted. This tool uses RPM, which is what your dashboard reports.

Why show a range instead of one number?

RPM is never fixed. It changes with your niche, your audience country, watch time and the season, with rates highest late in the year. A low-to-high band is more honest than a single false-precise figure.

Does it include sponsorships or memberships?

No. This estimates ad revenue only. Many creators earn as much or more from sponsorships, channel memberships, merch and affiliate links, which sit on top of these numbers.

Can I share this tool with my numbers pre-filled?

Yes. The URL updates automatically as you type. Copy it from the address bar or use the Copy link button, and anyone who opens the link will see the same numbers ready to go.
